History/target audience: The target audience for the film "Get Out" are the white liberal elite. The creator of the film said that white liberal people are people who believe that President Obama's election and their own open-mindedness have solved racism. He also is unsparing in mocking them in terms of making his antagonists not just ruthless but laughable. Production: If I were to choose I would choose between Blinding Edge Pictures and Dimension Films but I would favor more of seeing Dimension Films more and I will tell you why! They both have more experience in the thriller industry, they produced well-known. worth watching films. Blinding Edge have films like: Split, Unbreakable, Old, and Signs they all have percentages above 59 percent in rotten tomatoes. I don't recall when or what movie but I remember seeing the words "Blinding Edge Pictures" when I was younger. Dimension Films produced the film series "Scream" and coming from that I've watched 1 or 2 of them I believe that they were good, it may not be my favorite film but it definitely lived up to their name. Overall I feel like Dimension Films will be a good choice producing my film. Peele got the idea for the movie during the 2008 when he was watching Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama compete for the Democratic nomination. It had him thinking about race and gender..."in terms of one another." The budget he set for "Get Out" was roughly 4.5 million dollars. He picked the cast by how he imagined they would look while he was writing the script. When writing the script he gave up about 20 times but kept coming back to it, he would sit down and write something nobody would ever think of. The production companies that produced the movie "Get Out" are Universal Studios, Blumhouse Productions, QC Entertainment, Monkeypaw Productions, Dentsu, Fuji Television Network. Source

Distribution: The distributors is Universal Pictures in the United States but other countries use Universal Pictures International, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Nordic,Film 1, Kutonen, Net5, Renovatio Amet, SBP, Andes Films, Columbia Pictures, Finnkino I, United International Pictures, Universal Films of India, and Universal Pictures Argentina. These distributors are part of giving the filmmaker money to make their film so they do play a big part.Source

Marketing: The movie marketing insists of the posters, the trailers, advertising and Cross- Promotions, and Media and Publicity. The posters create a sense of mystery and disorientation they created this feeling by using the look of shattered piece of glass and show different fragment parts of the movie. The trailers set up as giving off the vibe of being the kind liberal white people that have academic conversations. They also use a website that includes features in the movie and things you want to know. Source

Cross-media convergence and synergy: 

Get Out were inputed into DVD's and Blu Rays. From what I know there has been only theater, commercials, billboards and CD's off of the movie "Get Out".
